USPS – NDC MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL Upgrades

Peachtree was contracted to provide mechanical and electrical upgrades at the USPS NDC facility in Jacksonville FL. This work included replacing 2 existing chillers (800 ton and 550 ton), replacing existing primary chilled water pumps, replacing condenser water pumps 1,2,3 and replacing secondary chilled water pumps 1,2,3. In addition, Peachtree furnished temp chillers for the plant outage and 60 rental day period, along with refurbishing two existing cooling towers with new coatings, new fill, and new fasteners. Peachtree also repainted/coated the entire cooling tower platform structure and uninsulated condenser water piping under the towers, as well as installed Variable Speed Drives and a New BAS system for the chiller plant.
