FCI ESTILL HVAC REPLACEMENT

Peachtree Mechanical Inc. was contracted under a firm fixed-price agreement to design and construct a new central chiller plant and powerhouse. The project scope included furnishing and installing two new 500-ton chillers, associated pumps, cooling towers, DDC controls, and two gas-fired boilers.

Additional work included the installation of high mast lighting poles, roof repairs, walk-in freezer and cooler renovations, and the construction of a new walk-in freezer on an insulated concrete pad. The project also involved a new transformer installation, electrical system upgrades, roll-up doors, and various building repairs.

Extensive coordination was required to install the new systems without disrupting the ongoing operations of the prison facility, which encompassed over 10 interconnected buildings. Peachtree Mechanical successfully executed the project while maintaining continuous facility functionality.
